September
Spanish Club celebrates Mexican Independence Day on  September 15th by decorating the union, playing Mexican music, and serving free sopapillas and chips-n-salsa to the entire school. Club members participate in a Home-Made Salsa competition with three categories.

November

Spanish classes will participate in "El Dia del  Muerto."  Spanish Club members will be asked to donated $2 each to sponsor Two Angel Tree children and give them gifts over Christmas.  The club will concentrate on clothing and also one game or toy.
 

December
Plans for the upcoming Fiesta Navidad:  our annual Christmas party are being finalized during Christmas committee meetings.   More details to come.

February
Create-A-Couple:  Spanish Club will create a couple that will enjoy a candlelit meal including the fine cuisine of La Fiesta.
Be my Teddy-tine:  Spanish Club is collecting teddy bears that are in good condition and will be given to children in crisis.
 

March
Foreign Language Week is a time when students are allowed to go :Across The Border" and also allow the entire school to learn more about the cultures and customs of Spanish countries.  Spanish Club is bringing back the Mr. and Ms. AHS competition.  All Alma High School students can participate.
 

April
Election of the new officers that will have a hard time replacing the great officers we have this year.  Also during April Spanish Club will hold the end of the year banquet.  *10 stars required to attend*
