The Airedale is the largest of the terrier breeds, often referred to as "King of the Terriers." It excels in agility and has untiring courage. His temperment is intelligent, responsive, and loyal; and he has good athletic physique. The Airedale has a high intelligence and a superior learning rate. He is also heroic, strong, clever, swift, formidable, and an excellent guard. There is nothing he can't be taught.
