When our wealth is lost, nothing is lost.    
When our health is lost, something is lost.               
When our character is lost, all is lost.

The Alma Middle School staff uses "Character Words" to help build student character.  Each month a different word is stressed.   The character building "Character Words" are:
September  - Accepts Responsibility
October  - Integrity
November  - Respects Self & Others
December  - Eager to Learn
January  - Dependable
February  - Always Perseveres
March  - Loyal
April  - Encourages Others
May  - School Spirited
