The center is fully automated with an electronic card catalog to help patrons find and identify resources. There are 20 computers in the center for students to access the card catalog as well as the Internet and other electronic information. Our campus is networked and this allows students and faculty to access the media center from anywhere on campus.
Books--The media center has over 9,000 titles that are arranged by the Dewey Decimal System.
Periodicals--The center subscribes to 9 magazines and 3 newspapers. Current magazines are on display in the reading area and some back issues are retained for 3 years. The Abridged Reader's Guide to Periodical Literature and National Geographic Index are available to aid patrons in finding articles. A computer data base periodical index is also available for patron use.
AV Material--Over 300 titles including CDs, DVDs, videos, filmstrips, records, audio cassettes, and kits are housed in the media center.
