Don't cram just before the test. Study a little each day for several weeks before the test. |
Be sure you understand all the directions before you begin a test. Ask questions if you don't understand. |
Be careful when you mark your answer in an answer row. Make sure you put your answer next to the right number or letter. |
Work as quickly as you can during a test. Skip questions you do not understand and go back to them later. |
Use key words, information, numbers, and/or figures to help you locate the answer. |
When you are unsure of an answer, take your best guess. |
For multiple choice questions, try to eliminate two answers. Then look for the best answer between the remaining two. |
Show your work on the Benchmark. |

If you finish early, check the items you were not sure about. Don't change an answer unless you are sure your new answer is correct. |

AMS Career Day is an annual event to acquaint our students with a variety of career opportunities and allow them to listen to individuals from a variety of professions. These professionals share information about their jobs and what type of education was needed for their jobs. Students are released from 135 minutes of instructional time to attend their choice of six different presentations.
