For Making Fewer Mistakes!

• Read all directions.  Understand what you are supposed to do.

• If you don't understand the directions, ask the teacher for help.

• Read questions carefully and read ALL of the answer choices.

• Don't rush...there are no rewards for those who finish first.

• Answer the easy questions first.  If you're stumped by a question, go on with the test and come back to it later.

• You should guess if you don't know the answer.

• Try to eliminate some of the answer choices as wrong; this increases your chances of guessing the correct answer.

• Don't make "wild" guesses, your choice should at least be reasonable.

• Tackle each question one at a time rather than thinking about the whole test.

• When you finish, check over your answers.
