Mrs. Amy Brewer

Amy Brewer is beginning her twenty-first year as an educator and starting her ninth year at Alma High School.  She earned a Bachelor of Science in Science Education from the University of the Ozarks, a Master of Science in Counseling from John Brown University, and an Educational Specialist in Educational Leadership from Harding University.  Over her 21 year educational career, Mrs. Brewer has taught Physical and Earth Science, Biology, and Chemistry.  It is her ninth year as a high school counselor, after spending twelve years in the classroom.  She is a member of Chi Alpha, AAEA and is a member of the ArSCA Technology Team.  She has been married to her husband Justin for 22 years.

Mrs. Tawnya Shelton

Mrs. Shelton is an alumni and Honor Graduate of Alma High School. After graduating from AHS, Mrs. Shelton attended and graduated from Ouachita Baptist University. She obtained her Masters of Education in School Counseling and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University. Mrs. Shelton has over 22 years in education. In her early educational career, she worked as an academic advisor and then became an English and Journalism teacher. Mrs. Shelton has served as a high school guidance counselor at Alma High School since 2005. Mrs. Shelton received her National Board Certification in School Counseling in 2010.

Mrs. Manesseh Moore

Manesseh Moore is in her fifteenth year as an educator and her twelfth year in Alma School District. She graduated from Alma High School after attending Alma schools for kindergarten through twelfth grade. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Social Studies Education and a Master of Education in School Counseling and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University. She is also a certified Career Development Facilitator. For the first six years of her career, she taught various social studies classes including Civics and Economics, American History, and Arkansas History. For the past eight years she has been serving students as a School Counselor and assisting students with personal and social concerns, building academic skills, and planning for their future. She is a member of the Arkansas School Counseling Association and the Arkansas Career Development Association. She and her husband Jason have been married for thirteen years and have five children.
