    Cheer Team Headed to Nationals

    The 2017-18 Alma High School Cheerleaders were undefeated in competition this year winning their division at the Van Buren, Heritage and Bentonville Invitationals.  They were named the Overall Champion at the Van Buren and Bentonville Invitational. On December 16th, the squad was named back to back 4a-7a Gameday State Champions. This was the 5th state title for the cheerleaders.  The team will be competing at Nationals in Orlando, FL on February 9-13, and looks forward to representing Alma.

    Members of our squad are:  Landi Bowen, Jennah Brown, Jordan Brown, Anna Chapen (Captain), Lauren Evans, Kylee Jacobs, Jordyn Johnson, Kate Keener, Caitlyn Malone, Amanda O'Neal (Co-Captain), Sarah Patton, Jaden Petree, Kaytlin Ray, Bradi Rogers, Kenzie Sindle, Kennedy Stockburger (Captain), Carlie Westra, Abby Wilson.  They are coached by Christy Law and Kenra Newton.

    AMS & AHS Robotics

    The Alma Middle School and the Alma High School Competitive Robotics team competed Saturday, February 3rd in Fayetteville.  In a robotics competition, students compete with and against each other and there is no classification difference. Alma had six teams competing against 46 teams from across the state.  The middle school team made it to the quarterfinals in their division.  The high school team finishing is listed below.  
    The Cone Wranglers (8384A)- Were ranked 7th after qualifying rounds and made it to the quarterfinals.
    The Beefy Boys (8384C)- Were ranked 22nd after qualifying rounds and made it to the semifinal rounds.
    8384D- Were ranked 17th after qualifying rounds.
    The Freshmen team (8384F)- Were ranked 25th after qualifying rounds and made it to the final round ending as the tournament runner-up.
    The Girl Powered team (15926A)- Were ranked 13th after qualifying rounds and made it to the final round with the freshmen ending as the tournament runner-up.
    The robotics team has one more competition on February 17 before the state robotics competition on March 4.

    Varsity Basketball 

    Farmington will be coming to town tonight for four ballgames starting with JV Girls @ 4:00.  Come out and support our Airedales.  

    Two of our high school teachers will be getting a"Pie in the Face" as a result of our AHS Student Council fundraiser, with the proceeds going to Make-A-Wish and AHS Student Council.

    National School Counselor Week

    This has been National School Counselor Week.  We are very thankful for our Dream Team of counselors we have in Alma School District. Thank you for all you do!

    Airedale Valentine

    Valentine's Day Guidelines

    Each of our buildings has specific guidelines regarding Valentine's Day; however, the bus guideline is the same for all buildings. 

    Students are not allowed to take any balloons, glass, or large objects on the bus. If students receive one of these items they will need to picked up at school.




    Alma Notification System 

    In the event of a school closing, notification messages will automatically go to parents who have email addresses and phone numbers on file provided from their child’s registration form, submitted when school started. If you provided a cell number, you should also receive a text. Notifications will also appear on the Almasd.net website, Facebook, and Twitter. If your phone number or address has changed recently, please call the school your child attends and update that information. 

    Our teachers, counselors and principals also send out messages with our notification system.  Be sure your child's school has accurate information.
