• Social Studies
    Alma Schools is focused on nurturing student growth in all areas of social concepts along with reading and writing. It is important to us to provide quality instruction in the grade level skills specified in the Arkansas Department of Education Frameworks, and to foster students as they grow into responsible citizens. We want students to gain content-specific knowledge and we want them to understand how the past, different cultures, and current events impact their lives today and into the future. Our integration of social studies concepts and life-long literacy skills focuses on project-based learning and interaction among all students.
