Alma School District welcomes English Learners (ELs) and their families to our community. identified students are supported by their classroom teachers using immersion strategies. Upon arrival, we test students to determine the best placement and services for them and continue to assist the student’s families and schools as the students work toward graduation. Our office also supports teachers and administrators as they are working with ELs in the classroom by providing ongoing professional development and curriculum support.
