Mrs. Patillo is beginning her 5th year with the Alma School District. Prior to teaching at AMS, she was a teaching assistant for one year and then taught 2nd grade for three years. This year, Mrs. Patillo will be the Dyslexia Interventionist for grades 6-8. Mrs. Patillo graduated from Alma High School in 2002. She has an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor Degree in Organizational Leadership from U of A at Fort Smith. She earned her teaching licensure through APPEL (Arkansas Professional Pathway to Educator License) and is licensed to teach grades K-6 all subjects. Mrs. Patillo has also earned an endorsement to teach Resource for grades K-12, and is trained in Connections OG in 3D for Dyslexia. Mrs. Patillo lives in Alma with her husband and two daughters who attend school in the Alma School District. She enjoys traveling, camping, shopping, and spending time with her family.
