Taylor Elise Smith is beginning her 6th year as a teacher and beginning her 1st year in Alma School District. She graduated high school at Pocola High School in 2009. Taylor holds a Bachelor of Science in Middle Level Education with an emphasis in Math and Science from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Educational Technology, and Education Leadership certificate from Southeastern Oklahoma State University. In the past 6 years, she has taught different subjects and age levels: 5th grade math and social studies, 6th grade math and language arts, 8th grade pre-algebra, science and pre-ap science. Taylor holds a teaching certificate in both Arkansas and Oklahoma. She is currently teaching 7th and 8th grade math at the middle school. Taylor has been married to her husband, Mason, for 7 years and has three girls.
