Mrs. Whitney Adams
Whitney Adams is beginning her third year as a teacher and coach in the Alma School District. She is teaching 8th grade Social Studies and Career Orientation at Alma Middle School. Whitney also serves as the Head Volleyball Coach for the Freshman team in addition to the Head 7th Grade Girls Track and Field Coach. She graduated from Southside High School in Fort Smith in 2009 after lettering in volleyball for all three years. Whitney was awarded an athletic scholarship to play volleyball at UA Fort Smith and is the “All Time Assist” record holder for the university. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree, she earned a Master of Art in Teaching degree from the University of Arkansas at Monticello in the Summer of 2020. Previous to Alma, she was the Head Volleyball Coach, Assistant Basketball Coach and Assistant Girls Track and Field Coach at Trinity Junior High in Fort Smith, AR. She also holds certification in Health and Physical Education. Whitney married her husband, Matt, in March of 2019 and they enjoy traveling to watch Arkansas and Red Sox baseball teams compete.
