Mr. Reeves

Keith Reeves holds a Bachelor's Degree in Vocal Music Education from Arkansas Tech University. He is currently in his 15th year of teaching Choral Music in Arkansas. Prior to joining the team at Alma, he served as the Director of Choirs at both Ramsey Junior High and Southside High School in his home town of Fort Smith. Under his direction, the choirs at Ramsey grew from 280 students to nearly 500 students in grades 7-9. The Ramsey and Southside Choirs consistently earned superior ratings in performance and sight-reading at their annual Choral Performance Assessments. Each year, many students from Ramsey and Southside were also chosen for the Region 4 All-Region and All-State Choirs. Under Mr. Reeves direction, the Ramsey Junior High Select Men and Select Women’s Choirs were chosen to perform at the Arkansas All-State Music Conference as the guest Junior High Honor Choir in 2017.

In 2013, Keith was named West Central ArkCDA's Junior High Director of the Year. In 2014, he was awarded the Fort Smith Jaycees Outstanding Young Educator Award. In 2015, Keith served as the ARACDA R & S Chair for Male Chorus and was one of two coordinators for the ARACDA Treble Honor Choir. Mr. Reeves served as the Junior Section Chair for the Arkansas Choral Director's Association from 2018-2022. He is currently an Executive Board Member at ACC Choir Camp, which is held at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway each summer. Keith is also an active adjudicator and has served as a guest All-Region clinician in Arkansas and Missouri.

Aside from music, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, hunting, camping, fly fishing, and various other outdoor activities. He and his wife Tiffany have been married for 15 years. They are both members of Harvest Time Church in Fort Smith, where they live with their two sons, Wyatt and Jasper, and their two dogs, Fern and Flint.
