Shilo Blackwell is starting her 27th year of teaching.  Before coming to Alma, she previously taught four years at Lavaca High School and one year at Van Buren High School.  She is a graduate of Alma High School and received her Bachelor of Science in Business Education at the University of Central Arkansas.  Shilo started her career teaching a variety of business and computer classes.  For the past several years she has been teaching Family & Consumer Science classes.
