Mrs. Kim Willhite

Mrs. Kim Willhite is in her 28th year of teaching and starting her 25th year at Alma High School.  She graduated as a chosen Outstanding Senior from Ozark High School in 1987.   Kim has two Bachelors degrees: Spanish and English Language Arts in Education. Kim graduated in 1991 from Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and finished her Spanish Education degree in Costa Rica with the Fullbright Institute at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.  In her 28 years in education, she has taught a variety of subjects and held several positions at the 7th grade - 12th grade level: English 8, 11, Spanish levels I, II and III, Cheerleading sponsor: Jr. and Sr. High, Saturday School Instructor, Pageant Coordinator, Spanish Club Sponsor, Class Sponsor, and Fellowship of Christian Athletes Sponsor.  At Alma she is currently teaching Spanish I and II and is a Faculty Advisor for Sophomore as a part of the Career Action Planning for Students program.  Kim is a past member of the Crawford County teachers of English and was on Executive Council for Delta Zeta Sorority and ATU Spanish Club President.  Kim has been married to Greg Willhite for 21 years. Outside of their day to day work, the Willhites run a beef cattle farm south of Ozark.  They have two daughters: Tatum is a 2017 graduate of Alma High School and is attending the Univeristy of Arkansas Ft. Smith; daughter Kelby is a junior and member of the State Champion AHS Dance Team.
