Mrs. Amber Stricklin
Mrs. Stricklin is beginning her sixteenth year as a teacher at Alma High School. She grew up in Alma and graduated from Alma High School in 2001. Amber has a Bachelor of Science in History from the University of Arkansas Fort Smith and a Master of Science in Education-Curriculum and Instruction from Arkansas State University. During her time as an educator, Amber has taught a variety of subjects in the Social Studies department including Civics/Economics, Arkansas History, and United States History. Five years ago she began the Orientation to Teaching program at Alma High School, designed for students who are interested in entering the field of education. Currently she teaches Foundations of Education, Methods of Education, Concurrent Methods of Teacher Instruction, and United States History. Amber has been married to her husband Daniel for nineteen years and has a thirteen-year-old daughter, seven-year-old twin boys, and a three-year-old daughter.
