Jerry D. Kelley
Mr. Kelley is beginning his 13th year as an educator in the Alma School District. He graduated high school at Alma in 2001. Mr. Kelley has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Arkansas-Fort Smith. In his twelve years in education, he has taught a variety of subjects and held several committee positions within the Alma School District. Mr. Kelley has taught or is currently teaching Biology, Pre AP Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Physical Science, Pre AP Physical Science, and ACT Preparation courses at AHS. He also serves on the Alma School District Technology Committee. He is also the Sr. High Quiz Bowl Sponsor, a Senior CAPs Advisor, and the Social Media Chair for the Northwest Arkansas Science and Engineering Fair. Mr. Kelley has been married to his wife, Jennifer, for 12 years and has one daughter. In his limited free time, he enjoys commercial fishing for catfish on the Arkansas River, scheduling USSSA baseball tournaments, and teaching the young adult class at New Hope PCG.
Each class in the menu provides basic course information. The course syllabus, letter to parents, curriculum and pacing guides are available. Calendar Events will be added regularly. "Google Classroom" will serve as the primary notification and work portal for each class. "Blackboard" will serve as the primary means of communication with students and parents. "Chalk" will serve as our primary gradebook and attendance software.
