Mrs. Jeana Parker
Jeana Parker is beginning her thirteenth year as an educator and starting her twelfth year in the Alma School District. She graduated from Alma High School in 2004. Jeana has a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Arkansas Tech University and a Masters of Arts in Teaching from the University of Central Arkansas. In her ten years of education, she has taught a variety of subjects: Biology, Chemistry, AP Physics, Introduction to Engineering, Principles of Engineering, and Engineering Design and Development. She is also the advisor for the Technology Student Association and the Robotics team sponsor. Mrs. Parker is also a member of the Alma Technology Committee. Mrs. Parker also has three 3D printers in her classroom that are available for engineering students. Mrs. Parker loves science fair and currently serves as the NWARSEF Social Media Co-chair. She was awarded the Northwest Arkansas Science and Engineering Teacher of the Year ain 2017 at the University of Arkansas. She also received the Arkansas Soybean Science Challenge Teacher Mentor Award. Jeana has been married to her husband Chris for eleven years and has two children. Her son Noel is ten and in the fifth grade at Alma Intermediate School, and her daughter, Paisley, is five years old and starting kindergarten this year.

Due to Covid, we will not have after school robotics or competitive robotics.
