Mr. Eric Savage

Eric Savage is beginning his thirty-fifth year as an educator at Alma Middle School. He graduated high school from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Eric then went on to receive his Bachelor of Science in Education, Special Education Mildly Handicapped K-12 Degree from the University of Central Arkansas. He has lived in the state since nineteen seventy-three. Prior to that he lived at Andrews AFB just outside Washington D.C. He moved to the D.C. area from Charleston, S.C., and was born at Johnson, AFB just outside Tokyo, Japan. In the thirty-four years that he has taught at Alma Middle School he has taught Language Arts, Math, Science, and Reading. He has also been a bus driver for the school district for fifteen years. He has sponsored the Art Club, Golf Club, and is currently sponsoring the Disc Golf Club. Mr. Savage has been a Professional Disc Golf Association member since 2010, and has nineteen career victories. He designed the Alma Middle School Disc Golf Course, and several other courses in the surrounding area. Eric is happily married to Stacie Dyer-Savage. Eric has three children who all graduated from Alma High School. Stacie has six children; five having graduated from Alma, and one is still attending.
