Tammi Hargis is beginning her 24th year at Alma Middle School. She graduated from Alma High School. Tammi has a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Arkansas Tech University, and a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling and Guidance from Arkansas Tech University. Tammi is certified in K-12 Special Education, K-6 Elementary Education, P-12 School Counseling, has an endorsement in Middle School Social Studies, and a Dyslexia certification. In her 23 years of teaching at Alma Middle School, Tammi has taught reading,  written expression, and math to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade special education students. Tammi has three grown children and seven grandchildren.
