Mrs. Becky Lowrey
Becky Lowrey is beginning her 21st year as an educator and her 18th year in the Alma School District. She graduated high school from Fort Smith Christian and attended Westark Community College where she played on the '95 basketball team that went 35-0 and won a National Championship. Becky finished her basketball career at Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas. She earned an Associate of Arts Degree from Westark Comunity College, a Bachelor of Arts in History from Lyon College, a Master of Science in School Counseling from John Brown University, as well as an Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership from Harding University. She previously taught History and coached Basketball and Track. She has licensure in PE/Wellness, Social Studies, Guidance/Counseling, and Administration. Becky was the 2011 ArSCA Middle/Jr. High-Level Northwest Region Counselor of the Year. She is a member of the ArSCA Technology Team. Becky is starting her 16th year as a Counselor at Alma Middle School. She has been married to her husband Mike for 18 years and has a 15-year-old daughter, Riley.
