Mrs. Stacie Dyer-Savage
Stacie Dyer-Savage is entering her fourteenth year of teaching in Alma. She graduated from Southside High School in Fort Smith where she was born and raised. She began her college career at University of Arkansas Fayetteville, and transferred to Arkansas Tech University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in education in 1994. After teaching fourth grade at Alma Intermediate for three years, she paused her career for ten, to raise her children. She then returned to fourth grade Math and Science, before moving to Alma Middle School where she began teaching her favorite course, Science. Stacie is currently teaching Science and PreAP Science in 7th Grade. She holds certification in PreK through eighth grade in all content areas, is Acellus trained and holds certificates for Project Lead the Way, and Advanced Placement courses at the Middle school level. Stacie has six children and recently married fellow teacher Eric Savage gaining three fantastic stepchildren. All have attended or are attending Alma right now. Kyle, her oldest, has one son, Jaxson. Trey and Darian both attend Hendrix College, and Ged will be attending University of Arkansas, Fayetteville this fall. Martin is a junior at Alma High School while Daniel is getting ready to start his 8th grade year at Alma Middle. Eric's son, Cory lives in Fort Smith, daughter Alex, is married and resides in Denver, and Micah is a flight attendant for Delta.
