Abby Boster is starting her seventh year of teaching and her sixth year at Alma. She is the assistant coach for the Alma Cheerleaders. Abby graduated high school from Van Buren, Arkansas. She attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville and graduated in 2016 with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a minor in Secondary Education. She had numerous opportunities to be in the classroom during her four years of college thanks to the UATeach Program. Mrs. Boster taught Algebra III and Geometry in Springdale at Har-Ber High School before coming to Alma. She now teaches 8th grade math and Algebra. Abby married her husband, Judd, in November of 2017. They have a baby boy, Jett, and a lab named Saydi. She enjoys cheerleading, football, baseball, cheering on the Hogs and spending time with her family and friends. Since she has been at Alma she has helped lead her cheerleading teams to a AAA State Championship in 2021, a UCA Game Day National Championship in 2021 and two AAA State Runner-Up titles. Mrs. Boster is looking forward to supporting her students and cheering on the Airedales.
