Brian Kirkendoll is beginning his twenty-first year in education and fourteenth in administration. He was born and raised in Crawford County and graduated from Van Buren High School. He has been employed with the Alma School District for fifteen years. Mr. Kirkendoll served in the U.S. Navy on active duty for 6 years and 14 years in the USNR, retiring in 2013. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Central Arkansas and his master's degree in administration from Arkansas Tech University and specialists degree from Arkansas State University.  Brian has been married for 26 years and has 1 daughter who attends Alma High School.

Jason Reeves

Assistant Principal, Alma High School

Jason Reeves is beginning his 16th year with the Alma School District, his 17th overall in education. He served as Assistant Principal at Alma Middle school for the previous two years and is now in his second year as Assistant Principal for the High School. Jason graduated from Alma High School in 1997, from Arkansas Tech University in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems, the University of Arkansas - Monticello in 2005 with a Master’s in Teaching, and most recently from Arkansas State University with his Specialist in Educational Leadership. Jason’s wife, Erin, is a  teacher at the Alma Intermediate School. They have been married for 19 years and have two daughters, Eliana (11) and Joslynn (8).

Dr. Stacie Wood

Assistant Principal, Alma High School

Stacie Wood is beginning her 22nd year in education. She is starting her second year as the Alma High School, assistant principal.  She has served as principal at Parkview Elementary School in Van Buren for ten years. Prior to this she served as assistant principal at Alma Primary School for one year.  Prior to her educational leadership experience, she taught fifth grade at Central Middle School, third grade, and intervention at Tate Elementary and was an instructional facilitator at Northridge Middle School.

Stacie is a 1994 graduate of Alma High School.  She earned a Bachelor's in Elementary Education and a  Master’s in Educational Leadership from Arkansas Tech University.  She holds a Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership: Superintendency from Arkansas State University and completed her doctorate degree this past summer at Arkansas State. 

In 2013, Dr. Wood was recognized as the Arkansas Administrator of the Year, by the state Parent/Teacher Organization. In 2014, Wood completed the Principal’s Leader to Leader Academy, for excellence in Educational Leadership at Arkansas Tech University.

Stacie is married to James Wood, a 1995 graduate of Alma High School.  James is a Captain with the Fort Smith Fire Department. They live on a small farm in Alma, with their two sons, Zayne, who is a senior this year and Gus, who is in fourth grade.
