Jo Ann Jordan is beginning her 24th year as an educator in the Alma School District.  She graduated from Alma High School.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education with Middle School Endorsements in English and Social Studies from Arkansas Tech University in 1998.  Jo Ann is also a graduate of Arkansas Leadership Academy – Teacher Institute - 2008.  She earned her National Board Certification in 2009.  In her 22 years in education, she has taught 3rd grade. She has mentored new teachers during their first year of teaching as well as mentoring numerous interns.  Jo Ann was named Alma School District Teacher of the Year in 2017. She has been married to her husband, Kevin, for 28 years.  They have 1 daughter, Brandi.
