Charla Parrish is beginning her thirty-fifth year as an educator and starting her twenty-nine at Alma School District. She graduated from High School at Alma High School in 1984. She has lived in Crawford County all her life. Charla received her Bachelor of Science Degree K-12 Physical Education/Health and Driver Education from Arkansas Tech University in 1987. Her first five years was being Assistant Basketball at Westark Community College, now University of Fort Smith. In her 35 years in education, she has taught 7-12 Health, 7-12 Physical Education, 7-12 Basketball, 7-12 Volleyball, 7-12 Track, and 9-12 Softball. Charla is now teaching 7th grade P.E., 9th-12th grade P.E.,  Sr. High Volleyball Assistant Coach and Head Sr. Softball Coach. She has been on the All-Star committee for the past nine years.
