Junior Chandler O’Kelley lowered his team-leading earned run average to 0.65 Thursday with two scoreless innings, and Branson Brogan and Zander Pulido drove in four runs apiece to power the Airedales to a 21-5 win over Mulberry in non-conference play.
The Airedales (5-11) resume 5A-West play Tuesday against Russellville.
O’Kelley earned his second victory in four days for the Airedales. He struck out three and has allowed just one earned run in 11 innings of work this season.
Brogan and Axle Spain scored four runs apiece for the winners. Pulido, Nathan Machen, Tyson Shepherd, Kaleb Burdick and Luke Hartman scored two runs apiece.
Seth Cole drove in a run with his first career hit. Burdick and Pulido each had three hits.
The Lady Airedales and Airedales dropped a pair of 5A-West bouts to Greenbrier Thursday.
The Airedales (2-6-1, 1-5) lost their fourth straight by a 6-0 score.
The Lady Airedales (0-7-1, 0-5-1) lost 5-0 to the Lady Panthers. Senior keeper Sidney Hatley battled hard in the first half and finished with 12 saves and six blocks.
