Israel Towns-Robinson ran for one score and hauled in an 83-yard touchdown pass from Camden Curd as Alma shut out Southside’s freshman football team, 20-0. 


Towns-Robinson’s 66-yard TD run put the Airedales ahead for good in the first quarter. Curd threw a 26-yard touchdown pass to Byron Standridge on the next possession to extend the lead to 14-0. 


Towns-Robinson capped the scoring with an 83 touchdown reception to give the Airedales a 20-0 halftime lead. He finished with 83 yards rushing on 11 carries and caught four passes for 100 yards. 


Curd was 12-of-13 for 166 yards and two scores. Cash Farris had four catches for 28 yards. 


Standridge and Caleb Parker led the defensive push with five and four tackles, respectively. Curd and Elijah Pellam had three tackles apiece, and Curd and Ashton Chanhnouvong had interceptions.
