Alma bowlers 


Alma’s Dayton Hopp bowled a two-game total of 369 (192-177) at Russellville this week. 


Trentin Sanderson was second (248), and Jayden Parker and Jacob Dollard finished third and fourth for the Airedales, respectively. 


Russellville won the match with 1,744 pins; Alma had 1,356. 


Mia Nichols led the Lady Airedales with a two-game total of 287 (150-137). Kristen Lindley was second (231), and Maddy Click and Emily Hatley were third and fourth, respectively. 


The Lady Cyclones won with 1,629 pins. Alma had 1,132.


In the junior varsity co-ed match, Alma fell 973 (pins) to 843. Ayden Shoemake was Alma’s top bowler with a two-game score of 247 (141-106). 


Lady Airedales victorious 


Lydia Mann was feeling like her old self Thursday. 


Mann scored a game-high 15 points to power Alma to a 59-22 blowout of T.K. Gorman at the Brook Hill Invitational in Bullard, Texas. 


Moose Carmack and Presli Taylor scored 10 points apiece for the winners. Jordan Gramlich had seven, and Makia Cravey and Kiara Owens scored six points each. 


Alma was set to face West Rusk today at 12:30 p.m.
