Alma 7th Green 38, Bentonville 13 

 

GIRLS — Emberly Kimes took care of Bentonville Grimsley by herself.

 

The Alma seventh-grader scored 15 points as the Alma Green seventh grade girls rolled past the Grizzlies, 38-13. 

 

Jaeda Cahoon and Faith Sartor combined for 15 points in the victory. Anna Swarnes and Marilyn Dunn added six and two points, respectively.  

 

Alma 7th Green 42, Bentonville Grimsley 28

 

BOYS — Luke Stogsdill set the tone with eight first-quarter points as Alma rolled past Bentonville Grimsley’s seventh-grade squad, 42-28. 

 

Stogsdill finished with a season-high 26 points and 10 rebounds. He had plenty of help. 

 

Carson Curd added nine points and eight assists, and Chase Wood had three points and Hudson Loughridge and Cade Moore finished with two points each. 

 

Bentonville Grimsley 19, Alma Gold 15  

 

GIRLS — The Alma Lady Airedales’ seventh grade Gold squad suffered a 19-15 loss Wednesday. 

 

Kaitlin Middleton led the way with seven points. Jayci Davis had four points, and Karlee Bush and Kasey Breyette added two apiece. 

 

Bentonville Grimsley 29, Alma Gold 12  

 

BOYS — The Alma seventh grade Gold team suffered a 29-12 loss Wednesday. 

 

Alma opened up a 5-2 lead in the first quarter, but the Grizzlies outscored the Airedales, 16-0, in the second quarter while building an 18-5 halftime lead. 

 

Colton Nutt had eight points for the Airedales. Parker Moreland finished with four points.
