Lady Airedales take down Rogers

The Alma junior high girls volleyball team defeated Rogers on Tuesday, 25-21, 25-27, 17-15.
Breella Hughes had six kills (hitting .267) and finished with three digs, one ace, and one dig. She had plenty of help, too.
Emberly Kimes and Maggie Brogan had seven kills apiece. Kimes had five digs and one assist. Brogan added two digs and an ace.
Matilyn Dunn finished with 16 assists, seven digs, one kill, and one ace for coach Whitney Adams’ squad.
Annabelle Davis had 11 digs and three assists in the victory. Chloe Gregory and Anna Swarnes had five digs each, with Gregory adding three kills and Swarnes one.
McKinzy Berna finished with one ace and one assist; Brooklyn Qualls had two digs. Kylee Wallis finished with one dig.
Alma falls to VB
Alma dropped a 25-16, 25-19 decision to Van Buren earlier this week, Adams said.
Swarnes led the way with 10 digs and one kill. Brogan finished with four kills, seven digs, and three aces. Dunn finished with nine assists, four digs, and two kills.
Also for Alma, Berna had three digs and a 2.25 serve rating, the coach said.
Kimes had three kills and one dig; Hughes added a pair of aces, two digs, and a kill. Also for Alma, Davis finished with eight digs, and Gregory had one kill and one dig.
