Mrs. Shelton is an alumni and Honor Graduate of Alma High School. After graduating from AHS, Mrs. Shelton attended and graduated with Cum Laude honors from Ouachita Baptist University. She obtained her Master of Education in School Counseling and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University. Mrs. Shelton has over 29 years in education. In her early educational career, she worked as an Academic Advisor at Westark College/University of Arkansas Fort Smith. She then began her career as an English and Journalism teacher at Mountainburg High School, followed by two years as an English and AP Language Arts teacher at Alma High School. Mrs. Shelton has served as a high school guidance counselor at Alma High School since the fall of 2005. Mrs. Shelton received her National Board Certification in School Counseling in 2010 & has been named Secondary Arkansas Counselor of the Year twice in the past 15 years.

Mrs. Reese is a 2004 Honors Graduate of Alma. She received her undergraduate degree at Arkansas Tech University in Secondary Education and Mathematics. After teaching high school math for 3 years in north central Arkansas, she earned her Master's in School Counseling and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University's Center for Leadership and Learning. She earned National Board Certification in 2017. Mrs. Reese has been a school counselor for 8 years at a local middle school and is starting her fifth year as a high school counselor at Alma High School. She has been married to her husband, Brent, for 15 years. They have 4 children, three of which are school-age in Alma schools.

Mrs. Medina is a graduate of Alma High School. She received her undergraduate degree at University of Arkansas at Fort Smith. After teaching 7th grade math for 8 years in Van Buren, she earned her Master's in School Counseling and Leadership from Arkansas Tech University's Center for Leadership and Learning. Mrs. Medina has been a school counselor for 8 years. She is beginning her third year at Alma High School. She has been married to her husband, Jose, for 28 years. They have 2 children and 4 grandchildren.

Lindsey Johnson is the Career Coach at Alma High School, where she launched the Career Coach program in 2023. An Alma High School alumna, Lindsey earned her bachelor’s degree in Organizational Leadership from the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith. She has been part of the Alma School District since 2019 and is a 2025 graduate of Leadership Crawford County. Deeply involved in her community, she serves on the board of the Alma Area Chamber of Commerce. Lindsey and her husband, Josh, have been married for 19 years and are proud parents of two sons who attend Alma Schools.
