Alma Middle School’s Advanced Drama students delivered an outstanding performance at the Junior Thespian Festival on Saturday, March 7, earning top honors and recognitions for their talent, dedication, and teamwork.
The troupe received the prestigious Gold Honor Troupe distinction and earned high praise from judges for both their performances and technical work.
A standout moment of the festival was the One Act performance of Tough City, Prone To Rain. Alma was the only middle school selected to showcase at the festival and the only middle school to receive a Superior Rating for their production.
“These students are incredibly talented,” said Director Audra Bocksnick. “They have impressed me with their hard work, skill level, and teamwork. They are wonderful!”
