Alma Students Recognized at State History Day 2026

Alma students delivered an outstanding performance at State History Day on Saturday, April 18, earning top placements and special recognitions across multiple categories. Their hard work, creativity, and dedication to historical research were on full display.

Alma High School

  • Arianna Stricklin — 3rd Place for Women’s History

State History Day Placings

The following students earned top placements in their respective categories:

  • Charlotte Shores — 3rd Place Junior Division Individual Exhibit

Students earning 1st and 2nd place will advance to compete at National History Day at the University of Maryland in June - an incredible achievement at the national level.
