Coursey, JD
JD Coursey is the Principal at Alma Middle School. He is in his 19th year of service in the Alma School District, and his 20th year overall. He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Central Arkansas in 2006 and received his Master of Science in Education Leadership from Arkansas State in 2019. He has served the previous 6 years as an Administrator at AMS. Throughout his career, he has taught Civics/Economics, AP Government, World Geography, World History, and AP U.S. History in addition to coaching football. He and his wife, Bekah, have two sons, Jacob and Landen.
