Alma School District is proud to announce that Mrs. Misty Griffin of Alma Primary School has been selected as the OG&E Power Educator of the Month. In honor of Veterans Day, OG&E recognized Mrs. Griffin, a U.S. Army veteran, for the leadership, discipline, and teamwork she brings to her classroom.
“My time in service taught me discipline, teamwork, and leadership. These skills have provided tremendous advantages in my classroom,” said Mrs. Griffin. “I’m able to maintain high expectations and structure while also leading with compassion and heart.”
As part of this recognition, Mrs. Griffin received a $500 donation through DonorsChoose to support classroom supplies and learning materials. Alma School District is proud to celebrate her dedication to students and her outstanding contributions to education.
