The Portrait of a Graduate is a cornerstone of the Alma Forward 2040 Strategic Planning Initiative, which focuses on key areas including Educators, Graduates/Learners, Programs, Facilities, Technology, and Budget. Last fall, community surveys provided valuable input, and the high school guiding coalition, along with staff, reviewed 67 pages of responses from the graduate survey to help shape this framework.

This work marks the completion of Phase One of the district plan, establishing a clear vision of the knowledge, skills, and qualities our students will carry into the future. To bring this vision to life, posters and displays are featured in every school. Achieving these traits and dispositions requires the combined efforts of our PreK–12 staff and the support of our community, ensuring all Alma students are prepared for success.
