CTE Month Celebrations at the Captiol

February is Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month - a time to highlight the powerful impact CTE programs have across Arkansas. More than 197,000 students statewide are gaining real-world skills, building confidence, and developing leadership that prepares them for life beyond high school.

This past Tuesday, student leaders from the nine Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) were recognized at the Arkansas Capitol for their outstanding achievements. The event celebrated the incredible work happening across the state and included recognition from Arkansas Career and Technical Education Director Ross White and Arkansas Secretary of Education J. Olivia.

We’re especially proud of Alma High School’s student leaders serving in state roles:

  • Brenna Morris, Senior – Arkansas TSA President

  • Kylee Wallis, Senior – Arkansas TSA Secretary

  • Noel Parker, Freshman – Arkansas TSA Sergeant at Arms

Career and Technical Education is more than a program - it’s a community that supports students through mentorship, collaboration, and opportunities to grow and succeed.
