Alma Middle School 8th Graders Explore Career Opportunities at AHS CTE Day

Alma Middle School’s 8th graders had an exciting opportunity to explore their future during CTE Day at Alma High School. The morning event gave students a firsthand look at the many Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs offered at AHS.

Guided by current AHS students, the visiting 8th graders toured a variety of programs, including Agriculture Mechanics, Media Production, Sports Medicine, Accounting, Healthcare Services, Engineering, Computer Science, Nutrition Science, Education, NJROTC, and Management. Students were able to see how each program works, the skills they could learn, and how these opportunities could shape their future careers.

The event provided a morning full of exploration and learning, helping students identify programs that align with their interests and potential career paths.

Parents are encouraged to ask their students about the experience - what they learned, what they enjoyed most, and which programs they’re most excited to explore when they transition to Alma High School.
