Camryn Waters drove in four runs with a pair of hits to power the Alma Lady Airedales to a 15-5 win over Harrison and a sweep of the team’s season series.

Waters drew a bases-loaded walk in the third, singled home another run in the fourth, and doubled home two more in the fifth.

Izabella Plourde, Brooklyn Neighbors, and Leah Wilson combined for four of Alma’s eight hits. The trio combined to score six runs.

Harrison led 1-0 before Peyton Morris drove in a run to give Alma a 2-1 lead in the half of the first inning. The Lady Airedales broke the game open with a seven-run fourth, then scored four more times in the fifth.

Harper Jernigan earned the win for the Lady Airedales, striking out nine and allowing four earned runs over five innings.

“This is a special day,” Gramlich said.

Gramlich will become the first Lady Airedale player to play for the Lions since Bottoms.
