Alma High School recently held its November/December Victory Celebration, a schoolwide event honoring students, staff, and programs. Students enjoyed festive games hosted by STUCO, along with special recognitions highlighting outstanding achievements and successes across campus.
Airedale MVPs were recognized for modeling care for others and the school:
Senior MVP: Leila Wood
Junior MVP: Isabella Huff
Sophomore MVP: Brylynn Lamproe
Freshman MVP: Jake Johnson
Faculty MVP: Kisia Holland, described by students as kind, funny, and dedicated, and praised for consistently pushing students to reach their full potential.
The celebration also highlighted November/December Superstars, including:
Varsity Dance Team (Alma Dance), crowned 2025 5A State Dance Champions
AHS Band (Alma High School Band), one of only seven 5A bands to earn a First Division rating at the Arkansas State Marching Contest
All-Region Band and Jazz Band members
Arkansas Stock Market Game winner Bradley McIntosh (1st place)
DECA Power Trip delegates, with students representing Arkansas at the national level
Seal of Biliteracy recipients, earning statewide recognition for proficiency in English and an additional language
Alma FFA (Alma Agricultural Education & FFA Chapter), recipients of the National Chapter Award and multiple Leadership Development Event honors
All-Conference and All-State student-athletes across football, dance, volleyball, and cross country
Additional shoutouts recognized accomplishments in Model UN, academic growth in ACT Prep, community service by NJROTC cadets, and recent successes by the girls and boys basketball teams.
The Victory Celebration was a fun reminder of the excellence, leadership, and pride that make Alma High School such a special place — and the many ways Airedales shine every day.
