Kimes-led Alma junior boys defeat Grizzlies for 9th win

Aiden Kimes has made a habit of scoring a lot of points in the final quarter to help secure victories. Not on Thursday.

Kimes scored 12 of his 18 points in the second quarter to help lead the Airedales to a 58-39 win over Northside’s Freshman Academy at Crabtree Gym.

Nate Risley and Braxton Roberts finished with 15 and 10 points, respectively, for the winners (9-1).

Aiden Caldwell finished with nine points, and Jake Johnson and Callum Wood had three and two, respectively. Barrett Curd had one point.
