Make-Up Day Announcement
Due to the inclement weather, school was closed today. We have scheduled Monday, February 19, 2024, as the make-up day for the missed classes.
Please note that school will be in session on Monday, February 19, 2024, which is also President's Day.
Alma School District will be closed on Friday, January 5, 2024, due to inclement weather. All school buildings and district offices will be closed.
We are so excited to welcome students back to school tomorrow, January 3, 2024! We hope you all had a fantastic winter break and are ready to dive back into the world of learning as we embark on a new year together.
Happy New Year! We hope everyone had a wonderful and restful break. It's time to get ready for another semester, as classes will resume on January 3rd. We can't wait to see all of our students, families, and staff very soon!

Parents and guardians - Please be aware that there is an app called Gradeway for HAC that has been posted on social media by area teachers who are encouraging use. This is NOT a PowerSchool product (parent company for TAC and HAC), and we can't guarantee the safety of the student information. We and the Arkansas Department of Education do not support this product.
Since the State is not supporting this app, we will not be supporting it either. The only app that is supported by the State is called the eSchoolPlus Family app. Be sure you choose Alma School District when you create the account, and you may need to reselect the district if you're accessing it again for the first time this school year.
Due to storm damage, the high school will have a virtual learning day today. All other schools will operate normally today. High school students will receive further instructions later today. High school staff report by 8:30 am for further instructions. Bus routes running for all other schools.
School is starting and we are back! In this episode, Mr. B interviews Alma High School senior Denver Kelly. In this podcast, Denver talks about being a GT student in high school and what that means. Denver lets you know about his plans for the future and how he took advantage of opportunities that were presented to him, no matter how big the challenge. He also lets us know about some of the people who helped him to succeed and gives some advice to younger students that are maybe hoping to follow in his footsteps. It is well worth your time. Breakfast K-12: $1.00
Lunch K-5: $2.50
Lunch 6-12: $2.75
Reduced-Price Meals: $.30 and $.40 (for those who qualify)

Summer hours for administration and school offices will be Monday - Thursday, 8:00 am - 4:00 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. All offices will be closed on Monday, July 3rd, and Tuesday, 4th, in observance of the Fourth of July. We will return to regular office hours on Monday, July 31st. We hope you have a great summer!
