Eighth-grade DECA members put their skills into action before Friday’s game, gaining real-world retail experience at Airelooms! Operated by Alma High School DECA members, Airelooms offers Airedale apparel and spirit gear for fans of all ages. What a great opportunity for these students to learn, lead, and serve their community!
A familiar tradition is returning for the 2026 Alma High School Homecoming Parade! Join us Monday, September 21, at 6:00 p.m. as the parade begins on Main Street and heads down Fayetteville Avenue, bringing back the route many may remember from years past. Participants will return via Spring Street to their assembly and dismissal areas.
Please note that AHS parade participants will assemble and dismiss in the band lot area, while Little League participants will be staged in the visitor parking section.
We look forward to seeing the Alma community lining the streets!
Today, Alma School District pauses to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, honor the courage and sacrifice of so many, and reflect on the unity that brought our nation together. We will never forget.
Our community has stepped up once again! A huge thank you to Workman's Travel Center for providing FREE admission for ALL Alma Middle School and Alma High School students to Friday night’s home varsity football game against Vilonia!
Tickets will be distributed to students at each campus this week and must be presented at the gate for free admission. We are incredibly grateful for community partners who continue to show up for our students and give them the opportunity to pack the stands and support their Airedales!

Today, Dr. Mike McSpadden visited with our eighth-grade social studies students to discuss the rich history of Alma. Students enjoyed learning more about the people, places, and events that helped shape the community they call home!
We know it may feel a little early to talk about Christmas, but we’re getting a head start on spreading holiday cheer!
As part of Alma School District’s Purple Star Program, Alma Primary School and Alma Intermediate School are teaming up to sponsor a care package drive for members of the 142nd Field Artillery Brigade, Arkansas National Guard, who are currently deployed.
Families may donate snacks, personal-care items, games, festive socks, handwritten cards and other useful items from September 15 through October 15. Donations can be dropped off at APS or AIS and will be delivered in time for Christmas.
Let’s show these brave men and women that their service and sacrifice are appreciated - and that they are remembered and supported back home!

🔬🐛 Science is already in action in Mrs. Price’s class at Alma Middle School!
Students kicked off the year with “Investigate the Teacher,” using observations and inferences to learn more about Mrs. Price and her classroom expectations.
Next, they put their collaboration, planning, and problem-solving skills to the test as they worked within specific constraints to save Fred the gummy worm from shark-infested waters!
What a fun, hands-on way to begin the school year while practicing important scientific-thinking skills!
