Alma School District is excited to announce Mrs. Kara Burns as the new Assistant Principal at Alma Primary School! Mrs. Burns brings years of classroom experience, a passion for education, and a deep commitment to student success. She’s no stranger to Alma — having served at Alma Primary from 2012 to 2024 as a second-grade teacher, kindergarten teacher, and K–2 community teacher. We’re thrilled to welcome her back in this new leadership role and look forward to the positive impact she’ll have on our students, staff, and families. Please join us in giving Mrs. Burns a warm Alma welcome!
