Business learning in action at Airelooms! Alma High School welcomed Rally Order CEOs Alex Hamill and Riley Cole on October 6 to meet students, hear their feedback, and share upcoming features of the store’s point-of-sale system. As the first school in Arkansas to use Rally Order, Alma is giving students hands-on experience analyzing sales data and making business decisions while helping shape the tools they use each day. Thank you, Alex and Riley, for listening to our students and supporting their growth as future business leaders!

Cookies, grands and book fair fun! 👻🍪 A few highlights from day two of Goodies with Grands at Alma Intermediate School! Students enjoyed cookies and book fair shopping with some of their favorite people. We know how special these grands are to our students and loved getting to celebrate them!
Science in motion! 🚗 A few of Mrs. Craig’s students at Alma Middle School joined Mrs. McCarver’s 8th grade science class this week to explore the relationship between energy, mass, and speed through hands-on experiments with pullback cars.

A familiar face and a favorite tradition! For more than 25 years, Bec-O has brought smiles and laughter to Alma School District students and staff. Yesterday, he returned to Alma Primary School to share some tricks and fun with our youngest Airedales. Thank you, Bec-O, for being part of so many school memories!
Way to go, Airewaves Media! 🎬 Our students earned 3rd place at the Ozark Media Arts Festival, working through technical challenges and bringing home a finish worth celebrating! Mr. Farrell shared, “I am very proud of our students. They worked hard, had technical issues, but they prevailed.” Congratulations to our students and Mr. Farrell!

🚌 “The Wheels on the Bus” came to life for Mrs. Thorman’s students at Alma Primary School today! The class got a closer look at a school bus, took a lap with Mr. Flanagan, and learned and sang the familiar song together. Thank you to Mr. Flanagan, one of our wonderful Alma School District bus drivers, for taking time to share this fun learning experience with our students!

Alma High School launched its first Principal’s Leadership Academy last week! Senior student leaders nominated by AHS staff joined Mrs. Moore, Mr. Coursey, Mrs. Self, Brent Williams from FBC Alma, and Mrs. Walker for a full day of learning, collaboration, and fun. Through training sessions and activities, students explored ways to lead effectively within their teams and organizations while helping others grow as leaders. The academy prepares these seniors to make a positive impact now and help develop the next generation of leaders at AHS.
Band got that BLING, and the faces say it all! 💍 Current and former Alma High School Band directors presented championship rings to the students who made the achievement possible, including members who have since graduated. The Pride of Alma Symphonic Band earned the 2026 Class 5A State Championship at the Arkansas School Band and Orchestra Association (ASBOA) State Concert Contest in Searcy, taking first place in its first year participating! The ensemble was also designated the 5A Honor Ensemble for the 2027 ASBOA State Concert Contest, where it will give a featured performance. We’re so proud of these students and grateful to the directors who helped them reach this milestone!
