Alma Middle School has been recognized by the Office for Education Policy (OEP) at the University of Arkansas as a school where students demonstrated high growth on the ACT Aspire. The Outstanding Educational Performance Awards is an annual report that honors schools for their exceptional student progress, and we are excited to announce that AMS was crowned with the "High Math Growth (Statewide)" award in the Middle School Level report. This award is based on the 2023 content growth score, which measures how much the students improved from the prior year compared to expected growth based on their prior achievements. Kudos to Alma Middle School for their remarkable math (and overall) growth!

Parents and guardians - Please be aware that there is an app called Gradeway for HAC that has been posted on social media by area teachers who are encouraging use. This is NOT a PowerSchool product (parent company for TAC and HAC), and we can't guarantee the safety of the student information. We and the Arkansas Department of Education do not support this product. Since the State is not supporting this app, we will not be supporting it either. The only app that is supported by the State is called the eSchoolPlus Family app. Be sure you choose Alma School District when you create the account, and you may need to reselect the district if you're accessing it again for the first time this school year.
