Alma students are building their futures! 🔧🚧
On Tuesday, Alma School District took around 70 students from our agriculture, engineering, and college & career programs to the Build My Future – NWA event. Students participated in hands-on activities like welding, carpentry, operating equipment, and exploring careers through interactive exhibits.
This incredible experience gave our students a real-world look at high-demand careers and the skills needed after graduation.
We are proud of our students for representing Alma so well and taking advantage of this opportunity to explore their future pathways!

Alma School District is proud to be a Purple Star District, and even more proud of the military-connected students and families who are part of our school community.
Military children give up so much - moving to new places, starting over, and spending time apart from loved ones - yet they show up every day with strength and resilience that inspires us all.
This month, we simply want to say thank you. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are honored to support you here at Alma School District.
You will always have a home in the Airedale family. 💜

📚 Literacy in Action!
Learning looks a little different when students are deeply engaged in what they read! In Mrs. Payne’s 9th-grade class and Mrs. Van Devender’s 10th-grade class, students are connecting with their books in meaningful and engaging ways.
From thoughtful Socratic Seminars to outdoor book clubs, students are sharing ideas, asking questions, and building a deeper understanding of the texts they read. These experiences encourage collaboration, critical thinking, and a love for reading - while giving students a voice in the conversation.
It’s inspiring to see literacy come to life in such creative ways!
